This filter plumbing will run the outflow of the Endurance filter through the UV and back into the fish tank. Before, the flow was split with only some going through the UV and the rest of the flow bypassing the UV. UV is a great tool for managing algae in an outdoor pond.
We tend to use plastic or fiberglass bases because they are durable and stand up to the elements. Zip ties are a great way to secure pumps and pipes and are easily removed if needed.
