AST FIT™ 400 Modular Series
Modular Plug and Play System Sized to Your Needs
Our FIT 400 Modular system is an integrated unit that consists of a tank and filter sized specifically for your application!
At its most basic, this system is a 400 gallon tank utilizing a built-in PolyGeyser® filter. Need more than 400 gallons? Additional units can be added to fit your required tank volume. These modular units can be configured as tanks, filters, or a combination depending on your application. Link up as many as seven units for a system volume of 2800 gallons in one filtration unit.
Redundancy Simplified
Air systems are vital to keeping fish alive when an emergency strikes. Since you only need air to operate our FIT Systems, you can just purchase an extra air blower or two.
Conserve water. Save money.
The patented Polygeyser® filter technology separates the filtered solids into a concentrated sludge chamber. The filter constantly recycles its own backwash water so only the sludge is removed when necessary, resulting in large water savings. Plus, the backwashing process is automated for easy maintenance.
Get an Integrated Filtration System
Our FIT Systems will keep your fish healthy.
The integrated filtration system breaks down harmful fish waste. Using airlift technology, these tanks don’t require a water pump for filtration and/or circulation. The air pumps configured in our systems provide energy savings of up to 60% compared to typical water pumps.
System Benefits:
- Filter & tank in one unit for easy setup
- Integrated mechanical and biofiltration in a small footprint
- Auto-pneumatic backwash enables the filter to operate for extended periods of time without intervention, saving time and labor
- Operates on low pressure air supply, no water pumps necessary
- Far less water loss during backwashing process
- Reliable engineering with no moving parts

Denver Aquaponics Project
The aquaponics system works by pulling water from the hydroponic plants and then piping it through to the fish and back again. The volume of water that enters the fish tanks will displace an equal volume of water out to the garden, supplying the plants with nitrogen-rich fertilizer from the fish waste. We used two of filter models for the project; two FIT 400 units for the new fingerlings and two FIT 2800 units to create the primary, custom system that will be used by the Denver Mental Health Center to help with patient therapy and grow food for the community for years to come.
