AST Filter Controllers<\/h1>\n

AST offers programmed controllers designed for use with our filters.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

These controllers will automate the backwash cycle by:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Turning off the pump<\/li>\n
  2. Initiating the backwash & waiting for solids to settle<\/li>\n
  3. Draining the sludge from the filter<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You can set the backwash frequency with a selector.<\/p>\n

    Several configurations are available including a bypass (useful for the continuous operation of a waterfall) or control of an additional sludge pump. PW3 models feature an external alarm relay and pressure activated safety switch (not available with all models).<\/em><\/p>\n
